Last Friday was pretty dry but cold by Manila standards. Too tired and not feeling particularly cheery, the word drab again fit perfectly when trying to describe this day’s outfit.

The days have been pretty bleary lately due to the onslaught of storms left and right (well mostly right since they’re coming from the Pacific). On this particular day, however, the sun decided to grace us with its kingly presence hence the more summer-y look.

Too old for old school. This is me reminding myself to use my camera to take decent pictures. While blogging using my phone is too cool for words, crappy pictures really make me grind my teeth at night.

Because sometimes there is a need to look like the kind of guy I will see hanging out in a coffee shop with a hardbound in hand, drinking a piping mug of joe and Radiohead blaring from his earphones. He just came from the library and his messenger bag is filled with heavy books he’s taking home. He watches Fringe, loves Burritos and Sushi, and he rides a bike to and from work (granted he lives in Switzerland so pollution is not a problem). He has a dog and a cat and he can cook pasta and enjoys it with a bottle of red wine…. and me :)

And because this guy doesn’t exist.. yet, I’m just gonna dress like him.

Just want to say that this pair of oxfords are my favorite among my lot. They look exactly like what oxfords are supposed to look like. They were cheap too!

And so today’s theme is: DRAB.
My one dream in life is to have a closetful of clothes in black, grey and white.
And yet I keep buying clothes in other colors.

So my dad’s been saying that I keep buying clothes that I end up not using. So in order to prove him wrong, I’m doing my 30 day challenge.

What is the 30 day challenge? Simple. Wear all my clothes.

Rules:
1. No outfit repeat. Items can be reused but not in the same way it has been worn before. Or at least not the same combination.
2. No sneakers! I just realized I have shoes that are still clean so that means I don’t use them enough. I’m always wearing my chucks. So no sneakers (or at least sneakers once a week -from monday to friday. Sneakers are ok on weekdays.)
3. No buying of anything (that’s essential) until the 30 days is over.

So here’s day 1.
